Talk to Tim, and the week plans itself

Tim AI is the chat inside PaperTim that does real work. Ask for next week's plan and slots appear on the board. Ask for a worksheet and a draft is ready to review. Every change comes back as a card that links straight to the thing Tim touched.

What talking to Tim actually does

One chat, four ideas: Tim works through your own tools, waits for your approval, reads what your dashboard already knows, and never spends more than the New task button would.

Tim ai chat
A chat that actually does the work

Tim speaks the same tools you click. He reads each child's level, interests and mastery, plans slots onto the real week board, drafts worksheets for your approval, and hands you a link card for everything he changes. No copying answers out of a chat window into the app; the chat is the app.

You stay the parent in charge

Drafts wait in blue for your approval exactly as if you had clicked New task. Anything destructive, like deleting a plan slot or archiving finished work, only happens after Tim asks you plainly and you say yes. And grading stays yours alone: Tim never sees a photo and never marks an answer.

Built on what Tim already knows

Tim reads the same working set, mastery bands and focus list your dashboard shows, so asking what a child should focus on gets the same answer the year map gives, in a sentence. Ask what is planned, what was mastered lately, or where something lives, and follow the card.

Fair use, honest costs

Chatting with Tim is part of every AI plan and covered by a generous daily limit. When a chat turn drafts a worksheet, it spends one weekly generation, exactly as the New task button would. Nothing is ever charged twice or quietly.

Put Tim to work

Open the chat, ask for a plan or a worksheet, and approve what comes back before it prints.

Questions, answered

Everything parents ask before their first week with Tim. Something else on your mind? Just ask.

Is Tim AI a separate app or subscription?

No. Tim AI is part of PaperTim on every AI plan, in the sidebar right under your dashboard.

Can Tim change things without asking?

Tim acts only through the same tools you click yourself. Anything destructive needs your explicit yes in the chat first, and a draft becomes printable only when it is approved, by your click or by your word in the chat.

Can my child chat with Tim?

No. Tim talks only to parents. Children work on paper, and PaperTim keeps screens out of their school day.

What does Tim know about my child?

Only what the profile shares for planning: a first name or pseudonym, an age, a level, interests and your notes. Never a birthdate, surname or photo. The AI and safety page spells out the full list.

Does chatting cost generations?

Talking is covered by your plan's daily fair use. Only when Tim drafts a worksheet does it spend one weekly generation, the same as pressing New task yourself.
